The College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) runs registration exams for potential RMTs twice a year. These exams are challenging, and Absolute Therapy wants to support new graduates in their success. Beginning in 2026, Absolute Therapy will be working with experienced massage therapy educators to provide this invaluable study tool to new graduates.

 

Learners will experience a 90-minute trial exam designed around the form and content of the Performance Based Assessment (PBA) run by the CCHPBC. Afterwards, learners will be provided with significant and useful feedback that will have them better prepared to pass their upcoming exams.

Baby’s first language is touch; It’s how you tell them that they are safe and cared for. Our Massage Skills class is for parents and family of infants who want to learn how to use simple massage skills to build a language of touch that can improve bonding while also benefiting baby’s health and parental mental health. This course is built upon peer reviewed science and consent and emphasizes safety and learning in a non-judgmental environment.

 

The class is 90 minutes and includes singing, appropriate massage oil and lotion and all other supplies. Babies should be ready at the start of class awake and in a clean diaper. Everyone, including infants, is encouraged to snack during class as desired.

 

Class sizes are currently limited to 3 infants and one or two caregivers per child. Babies can range from a week old to whenever they start crawling. Once babies start moving independently, they are much less interested in participating and we can modify the class for an older cohort as needed. This course is currently being offered based on demand.
